Odds and number analysis.

The probability of matching the La Primitiva special category (six main numbers plus Reintegro) is 1 in 139,838,160; every valid outcome in that category is equally likely.

The mathematical matrix, archive and rules remain distinct. External links lead only to the official operator or public authority.

La Primitiva: how do the numbers and prize categories work?

La Primitiva has six main numbers from 49. Six main matches and six plus Reintegro are different categories: the special category also requires the independent digit from 0 to 9. Complementario distinguishes 5+1 and must not be multiplied into the special-category probability.

Appearances
Binomial reference with Bonferroni correction across all displayed numbers. Under uniform, independent draws, coverage is at least 95% for one sample fixed in advance. Searching across different sample windows is exploratory; an outside point does not establish a biased draw. Draws displayed: 100. Expected count: 12.24. Number

Binomial reference with Bonferroni correction across all displayed numbers. Under uniform, independent draws, coverage is at least 95% for one sample fixed in advance. Searching across different sample windows is exploratory; an outside point does not establish a biased draw.

Main numbers only; bonus numbers are excluded. Historical differences do not change the probability of the next draw.

Frequencies and historical absence describe only the selected sample; they do not change the probability of the next draw.

Every valid combination has the same probability.

C(49, 6) × C(10, 1) = 139,838,160

C(n, k) counts unordered selections without replacement. Independent pools multiply; the probability of one complete outcome is the reciprocal of this total.

Analyse a La Primitiva · Special category combination list

Example: a list with three rows, including one repeated complete combination, covers two distinct outcomes out of 139,838,160. Its exact-match probability in one fair draw is 2 / 139,838,160, not 3 / 139,838,160. Include every number pool in the modelled outcome.

Repeating an identical complete combination does not add another distinct outcome. Sharing some main numbers is different: combinations with different bonus numbers can still be distinct. Overlap describes the list; it does not identify better numbers or calculate the chance of any prize.

Compare 2–200 combinations you enter, inspect duplicates and overlap, model costs, and export a CSV or printable report. If you model a purchase, costs include all entered rows, including duplicates. The analysis runs in your browser; the entered list is not uploaded.

FAQ · La Primitiva

Clear answers.

Are overdue numbers more likely to be drawn?

No. In an independent draw, past absence does not increase a number's probability in the next draw.

Are some lottery numbers luckier than others?

No. Every valid number and every valid combination follows the same official draw rules. Historical frequency describes the sample, not the next result.

Does playing more combinations improve the odds?

Buying more distinct outcomes increases the chance of at least one match only because more outcomes are purchased. Cost rises with them and the game's negative expected value remains.
